Dear Gratitude: An Anthology book cover

DEAR GRATITUDE

An Anthology

“To me, Chris is ‘Mr. Gratitude.’ No one shines a brighter light on the topic of ‘gratitude’ than the guy who lives, breathes, and writes all things…‘GRATITUDE.’ Need a touch more feel-good in your life? Read his book.”

A Collection of Magnificent Letters on Gratitude

Dear Gratitude is a collection of magnificent letters and essays written by people with various perspectives on gratitude.

This anthology was created by Chris Palmore, who, on December 30th, 2013, chose to celebrate his birthday by writing his mom a message of appreciation and posting it on her Facebook wall, not knowing the events that followed would set him on a journey of gratitude.

Chris traveled to different states and countries looking for people who were willing to share what they were grateful for. He interviewed many, young and old, rich and poor, sick and healthy, male and female, from all walks of life and posted the videos of these interviews on his website and on different social media platforms.

He met a lot of interesting people in the process, and the more he got involved in his quest for gratitude stories, the more determined he became to share these experiences with others.

“Dear Gratitude is like Chicken Soup for the Soul. But instead of a bowl, it’s the entire pot.”

About the Author

Chris Palmore

Chris Palmore’s writing comes from a deeply personal place.

After writing a letter of love and gratitude to his mother in 2013, he lost her to cancer four months to the day later. Nine years later, he found himself back in the same hospice hospital where his mother had passed, this time watching his sister go.

Chris writes from grief, gratitude, presence, and perspective, helping readers slow down, hold tightly to what matters, and recognize the sacred weight of ordinary life.
